Bubba, I just wanted to thank you so much for your quick work by everyone at Jett's for the less than one day repair of my boat with a small fuel problem. I very much appreciate all of your efforts, it enable my wife to take her friends that have not been down here in 7 years around on a two hour tour of our area. Thanks again, will see you in the fall when it is time to winterize the boat.
Jett's to the rescue...literally in the nick of time... I first met the Jett's Marine Team in 2011 after purchasing a friends boat who had a camper as I at Smith Point Campground. I asked them to perform a complete service on the Yamaha 200 hp and they did so providing outstanding service at a very fair price as well as a repeat performance last year. Several times last and this year I called to get their advice concerning primarily fuel related issues and received great advice with a family type attitude not ever attained elsewhere. On 6/ 16/17 my adult son and I were fishing for Cobia off Kiptopeake near the CBBT when our Yamaha failed to lower after we raised the tilt to free some fishing line. We were in the process of starting to head back to Little Creek as a severe storm was approaching. After trying everything we could think of I was about to call BOATUS for a tow when I thought of calling Jetts though late in the day on Friday. John came to the phone and patiently walked my son through the procedure of locating and turning the pressure release screw just at the waterline in motor mounting bracket while he relayed the instructions to me as I was hanging over the transom. John's instructions were complete even addressing a critical safety concern of potential amputation by a rapidly descending motor. Thanks to John remaining with us even after normal hours we were on our way and returned to port safely though a little wet from the closing storm. What we witnessed as John, almost as if a Guardian Angel, was well beyond any reasonable expectation as he persevered while I fumbled with the somewhat frozen screw release which was at times below the transom water line. Thanks so much John and Jett's, You already had our loyalty and appreciation and now we owe you so much more.
We did lots of research before I purchased Yamaha 70 HP 4 stroke Jack Jett was fantastic to work with 4 years latter never a hint of a problem except this unit is so quiet sometimes I forget to turn it off at the dock If you live in the Northern Neck these are the folks to trade with, family owned business that treats you like family.

My wife and I were new to the Small Boating world, and you folks helped make the whole boat purchasing experience very easy. When it came time to take possession of the boat, the folks at Jett's put the boat in the water for us, and then helped us drive it over to our dock. We did not own a vehicle that had towing capabilities at the time, so Bubba pulled the trailer over to our house and parked it in the driveway - that was a big help. Since then, they have helped us with purchasing accessories, provided advice over the phone, and are now working to winterize the boat. Thanks again - you guys are great!!!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of picking up a 2016 Carolina Skiff 198 DLV from the wonderful people at Jett's Marine. When dealing with customers everyone strives to meet expectations of delivering a quality product at a competitive price. You, Joe and the team not only exceeded my expectations but did so as part of what I've personally believe as the right way to do things! This is not the first boat I've purchased. Like a lot of people in the Richmond area, we have a place at the river., I shopped at your competitors and your price was very competitive: however, it was your reputation and service after the sale that sealed the deal. I am so impressed that I will be bringing my other boats to you for service. I've already called several of my friends and am sure they will be coming to you soon for their boats!! Let me also take time to thank Joe who took me on the water and tested the boat, taking time to show me all the aspects of the boat that my family and I will need to know. After a few minutes with Joe, I found out what an avid fisherman he is and saw recent pictures of the Cobia he has been catching off Windmill Point. I can't thank you enough for being able to spend time with him - he is certainly indicative of all the wonderful staff you all have. When we got back to your showroom after testing the boat and then hooking up to my truck, the lighting harness was a little short (not your fault: still don't know why Toyota had it all the way on the left side). Joe quickly jumped into action and created an extension cable in a matter of minutes and away I went. He said at 20 hour check that he would take care of the cable and make it permanent - - This is customer service. The whole process of buying from you and Jett's Marine has been seamless (love the shirt and cap) and the absolute easiest transaction I've ever completed - you make it easy. This was not my first boat purchase, but it was the most satisfying thanks to Jack & Bubba both were very knowledgeable and helpful with accessories I wanted at very reasonable prices The on the water boat was test they offered was a first ever offered by a dealer to me and very helpful with familiarizing myself with how my new boat handled. Their attention to detail and customer service is something I have never witnessed when purchasing a boat. And of course, the Pioneer 197 I bought is simply awesome. A very special thanks goes out to Bubba, the General Manager, who tirelessly worked with me to get everything just right. From the custom mounted trolling motor plate to the side imaging and transducer mounting, to the underwater lights - Bubba and his crew made sure everything was done in the most professional manner while at the same time, surpassing all my expectations - and I'm a picky guy! We went the extra distance to see, and test drive the boat we wanted at Jett's before we made the purchase. The trip was worth it. The boat service and the overall buying experience was excellent. Kudos to John on repair of my Yamaha outboard. Hello, just wanted to send a brief letter with sincere compliments and thanks for John, who repaired the 40 hp Yamaha outboard on my Carolina Skiff, along with a couple of other repairs needed for the boat. The motor is running better than I recall it operating when it was brand new (Purchased from Jett's Marine in March 2004). In fact, I sincerely believe that whatever John did actually add a few horsepower to the motor. A great job, deserving a letter of thanks and praise.
Bought my 01 Maycraft with a 150 2 stroke yamaha....got a great deal...and LOVE MY BOAT..... Prices were so good i returned in 2009 and bought my 40 horsepower 4 stroke Yamaha..and couldnt beat there prices.....BUBBA .,,,,YOU ARE THE MAN.....THANKS JETTS MARINE....THE ONLY PLACE I'LL SHOP.....3 HOUR DRIVE OR NOT...WELL WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The boat is perfect, it's exactly what we had in mind and there was nothing we needed once we left there. We were able to enjoy the boat all weekend. John did a great job of going over the details during the test run. And we were even more impressed when Jack offered to give us the oil and lube needed for the 20-hour checkup since we do not plan on coming back for that. It was way above and beyond our expectations. I guess if I were disappointed about anything it's that John didn't play for the Dolphins. We just purchased your used 1991 Sunbird and I couldn't be more excited. The person I talked to was Bubba, he was very helpful and friendly. But it did not stop there, EVERYONE I spoke to at the shop was great, I had questions and they had answers, it was like talking to my best friend because they treated me like a real person, even though I only bought a used boat, you would have thought I bought the biggest boat on the yard the way I was treated. Bubba -- Thanks for all your help. We used the Generator for 35 hours and kept the freezer and refrigerators going. All five of our grandchildren were with us.
